as jessica simpson calls all the girls for a public affair, as beyonce goes to the left, as fergie makes the boys go loco, as shakira starts to feel it's right and paris hilton searches for the star that is blind, there are some slightly forgotten pop idols...
there is mandy who screams at the top of her lungs...
britney, who wanna be hit one more time...
christina who wants us to come on over...
and mariah who's always never too far...
I used to remember, back on 5-6th grade,I patronized mandy moore, from the items she endorse and the songs she made number one, name it, i know/got it. My classmates used to tease me to mandy moore, but they've got nothing against her coz i know that they also loved mandy! the people's love for mandy started when the movie "a walk to remember" was seen on Philippine cinemas, people went out crying while Jamie and Landon was hugging, kissing or also crying, it's no question... the people love mandy's conservative image because of the film, plus her pleasing to the ears songs, the people will surely love mandy...
I dont know much about britney, it's not that i dont want her, I just think she's ordinary before her daring songs like "im a slave 4 u" and "toxic," i can only remember one song from her, it's "lucky," i think it's one of her best. :) so off with britney coz i'm really not into her.
who could ever forget the mandy, britney and christina's split fans? in our school, again back in 5th grade, your day is not complete if you won't get to argue with people not idolizing your pop idol, im into mandy so i really make sure that mandy will always rule! :) but most of my friends were into christina, coz she's hot and daring after her "come on over" and "reflection" image... but people were really surprised and love her when she turned wild.
when someone talks about mariah, i cant help but laugh, because i always remember our biology teacher who used to imitate mariah, i mean all her steps, songs, movements, voice and even the way she speaks, he imitates it, yes yah've read it right, he mimics mariah and he's a guy! i remember pa nga one tyme, he made us fall in line for him to check our seatwork, and every student who will make him check the work, he will first sing a line of a mariah song, oh well, he's not in the school na naman, and most of us hates him. Ü
what heppened to these singers? i used to love their songs, I think, they've been replaced with songs who's lyrics are, "whoooooooooo, "yeaaaaahahhhhhh," and "roaaaaar," but i dont know... Im back to listening to mandy's songs tis days and my ears are loving it. Ü
i recommend, only seventeen, it's gonna be love, cry, and i wanna be with you if you want to relax and sit back, oh, and who could ever forget the someday we'll know fever? hehe... im really back into the mandy moore itch...
